Event description

The New Zealand premiere of Ocean to Sky, all profits to benefit people living in remote rural Nepal.

Ocean to Sky

Get behind the myth to meet the "real" Sir Ed Hillary as his friends recall the highs and lows, the laughter and tears of his jet boat expedition up the Ganges from the ocean to it's snowy source high in the Himalaya. A journey where Sir Ed would come within hours of his death, but which he always said was "the best journey of them all!"

Meet the Director

Meet and greet at 6, opening remarks at 6:30 from Producer and Director Michael Dillon. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Michael Dillon and other expedition members.

Your ticket includes a glass of wine or beer on arrival, thanks to our supporters at Rhyme and Reason Brewery.

This is certain to be a film experience like no other.

Book now, as tickets are expected to sell out fast.

Watch the Trailer

All funds raised will support Sir Ed’s greatest legacy: his work in Nepal through the Himalayan Trust.
