Event description

Thinking of running for the Local Electoral but don’t know where to start?

Ever wondered what it takes to run in the Local Election?

Do you have what it takes to become a Local Board Member?

Spend an evening with JCI New Zealand, University of Auckland’s Public Policy Club (PPC) and University of Auckland’s Public Policy Institute (PPI) as we navigate through what it takes to be elected as a local board member in a two-hour workshop.

During the evening you will hear from Shreya Rao, Engagement Advisor with the West Local Boards at Auckland Council, about the Electoral voting process and how you can run yourself in the future!

You will also hear from other current board members in a fun Q&A session towards the end of the night, and have the opportunity to network with our panellists, JCI New Zealand members and PPC attendees.
