Dance! with Home & Family
Date and Time
Buy a ticket, donate to one of our dancing couples or do both! Our famous Dancing with the Stars style fundraiser returns with all of the fun and excitement you have come to expect!
We have 10 awesome local professional dancer/choreographers who will be partnered with an amateur dancer, vying to take out the title of Dance! with Home & Family Champion 2019!
This year the event also features performances by Convergence Dance Studios and Christchurch's Vocal Collective. All funds raised from the event supports Home & Family's vital work supporting Christchurch children, youth & families.
Home & Family has been operating in Christchurch for over 120 years
and our services are vital and unique in the community. We offer
subsidized child counselling to children as young as three and a 24/7
residential parenting programme which works with families who are at
risk of having, or who have already had, children removed from their
care. Our newest programme, Refocus, is a wrap-around intervention which
works with tamariki who are at risk of entering the youth-justice
system by engaging with the entire whānau. Although our services are
desperately needed in Christchurch, we rely heavily on donations and
non-government grants to keep our services running.
The novice & professional dancers who have volunteered to dance & fundraise for Home & Family this year are:
- Daniel and Ashlee sponsored by Christchurch Property Inspections
- Andrew and Liv sponsored by Christchurch Casino
- Harriet and Natalie sponsored by Fulton Ross Team Architects
- Warwick and Jeanette sponsored by Elegant Kiwi Homes
- Rahul and Hayley sponsored by Property Brokers Rangiora and Rolleston
- Aline and Cassidy sponsored by PKF Goldsmith Fox
- Monique and Zach
- Matt and Laura
- Sophie and Dave sponsored by EV City
- Katie and Jamie
Please support our dancing couples via their Givealittle pages, by clicking their names. The funds donated to the dancers come directly to Home & Family and you'll receive a donation receipt via email from Givealittle directly after donating.
