The Wilderness Trail Women's Duathlon
Event description
Welcome to the Wilderness Trail Womens Duathlon. This Duathlon is an "entry level" or beginers Duathlon taking place on the beautifull Wilderness Trail, West Coast, South Island. The course starts in Kumara Domain with a 900m walk/run to the Wilderness Trail where you mount your bike for a 21km cycle along the Wilderness Trail into Greymouth. At the Karoro Domain, Greymouth, you leave your bike and walk/run 4km to the finish at Blaketown Rugby clubrooms. You can enter this event as an individual or in a team,(one does both walks/run, while the other cycles). The entire course takes place on the Wilderness Trail which will be open to other users on the day so care must be taken. The emphasis is on participation and having a great day out. Enties are open to any woman 13years and over. All profit from this event will be donated to the Cancer Society.
