What are these tickets for?
The tickets here are for the Night Out on Saturday evening, 10th of October. There'll be nibbles, a swag bag of goodies, spot prizes, a raffle, a photographer and it will be a great night out!
Our Sew Southern Makers' Night Out is a night for sewists to get together, make new friends and admire each other’s handmade garments!
We welcome sewists of all abilities! The idea is that you wear something you’ve made yourself- you can use the occasion to challenge yourself and your skills, finally cut in to that fabric or pattern from your stash, sew with fabric that you’ve never sewn with before, make something that you’ve never had an excuse to wear or wear something you’ve already made!
Everyone who attends will get a swag-bag full of goodies, and there’ll be random prizes and giveaways on the night. This will be an amazing chance to get dressed up and meet members of our lovely maker community!
What are the sponsored tickets?
The organisers of Sew Southern Makers' Night Out want this event to be inclusive and accessible. We are aware that there may be some sewists who would love to attend the event but will be prohibited because of finances. If you would love to be considered for a sponsored or subsidised ticket or if you know someone who may not be able to attend because of cost and you would like to nominate them for sponsorship please email us at naomijoynz[at]gmail dot com with their name and contact email address.
While we cannot guarantee sponsorship or subsidised places we will do our best to accommodate all applications. All sponsorship information will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
