Pottery Painting Workshop
Event description
Come and paint a little ceramic wheel thrown bowl in this lunchtime workshop! Learn a variety of ways of applying underglazes to a fired ceramic bowl, and create a peronalised gift for your dear ones. Later to be baked in a kiln and returned to you glossy with a transparent glaze.
Workshop fee includes a food safe, handmade ceramic bowl (approx 9 cm wide by 5 cm high). Participants will be able to pick up their bowls the following week, after firing in the kiln.
Tutor: Cecilia Freire from Creative Clay Studio.
Venue: The Kowhai Collective, The Guthrey Centre, Cashel Street.
Just off Cashel Mall, near Sweet Soul Patisserie.
