The Otago eDNA Research Group at the University of Otago is hosting a  meeting to bring together researchers at all levels to discuss research on metabarcoding and environmental DNA. Invited speakers from across Australia and New Zealand will present their research. 

The workshop will consist of three parts:

  1. For those new to bioinformatics, there will be an optional workshop on the 25 November covering basics of command line and R.
  2. A symposium will be held on 26 and 27 November, covering a wide range of topics.
  3. On 28 November an all-day course will be given on bioinformatic methods for metabarcoding data.
