Chris may have started in the UK, but has called New Zealand home for the last 12 years. As a member of the Field Sales team with DHL,Chris facilitates international trade for his customers; using transport knowledge & experience to give them market advantage.
With experience in all facets of transport, across road, air and sea, he has a deep understanding of what works best, and how Kiwi startups with ideas of global growth can achieve their goals - experience he wants to share with you.
Tracy is GM of Research & Development for BeeBio Skincare. With almost 30 years in the skincare industry, she took the leap to join a largely international-focused business, navigating the complexities of exporting to bring Manuka honey bio products to consumers all over the globe.
Tracey will share some of the challenges BeeBio faced in their international expansion, shedding a light on how to grow beyond New Zealand borders.
Ian Ross is the Chief Technology Officer of Hedgebook. Hedgebook provide treasury management software (SaaS) that helps small to medium importer/exporters manage cross currency risks.
Ian will be covering an important and often overlooked aspect of importing/exporting, hedging currency against fluctuation. Join us to hear about why you should hedge currency and hedge risk.
Sarah is a Co-Founder of Pampered Pooch, a Luxe Dog Grooming brand. Sarah’s background is in Product Development for the food and cosmetic industries, which she used in formulating a new dog shampoo after experiencing negative reactions to existing products.
Pampered Pooch now has a range of five collections and some functional products, and Sarah will be sharing her journey as a new startup beginning their exporting journey.
Colleen is GM of Operations & International Trade for Jeuneora, an e-commerce business based in Christchurch that specialise in premium marine collagen nutraceutical products. Colleen has previously held positions in both the domestic and export divisions at ANZCO Foods, most recently as Sales Manager for Asia.
Colleen will share where Jeuneora are currently at in regards to their international journey, and will also provide key insights on developing solid entry strategies into new off-shore markets.
