Pre-Treaty Story Podcast Release
Event description
The history of New Zealand is largely unknown - there are many hidden stories. Through this collection of short stories of encounters between Maori and European prior to the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, brought to life in a series of short podcasts, we can learn more about some of the shared history of all peoples of Aotearoa. When these narratives are digested collectively, a larger story unfolds.
Join us to celebrate the release of these stories produced through a collaboration between Plains FM, NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art) and Network Waitangi Otautahi.
This is part of the Beca Christchurch Heritage Festival 2019.
Nibbles and refreshments provided at the event.
Bookings are encouraged, but not essential.
